Electronics Engineering Student Achieves Prestigious Recognition

Ahmet Yelboğa, an M.Sc. student and a member of the Electronics Engineering Class of 2025, has been awarded the highly competitive Undergraduate/Pre-graduate Scholarship by the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S).

This prestigious award includes a certificate of recognition, a $2,500 USD scholarship, and a travel grant of up to $1,500 USD to support attendance at IMS2026 or another MTT-S-sponsored regional conference.

Ahmet is conducting research on millimeter-wave integrated circuits under the supervision of Prof. Korkut Kaan Tokgöz at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS). He received the scholarship based on his project titled Energy-Efficient Sub-Terahertz CMOS OOK Transmitter Design, which builds upon and advances the work initiated in his undergraduate graduation project.
